Metalis are working with clean, ultra-modern, engineering firm who specialises in high performance alloys. Our client seeks a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership and drive the company's future success. This will be a varied role covering many areas of the business and in particular heading up strategic future projects.
This is a Monday - Friday role, paying up to £40,000 for the right candidate. Your working hours will require a degree of flexibility to suit the needs of the business. Being a key member of the team, you will be integral to companies' growth plans.
Daily Duties:
- Evaluate & Improve Processes.
- Support in the development and launch of new products.
- Develop new tooling and reviewing shift patterns to increase productivity.
- Organise, file, and keep clear records of Audit Documentation and CI reports.
- Support the wider engineering team with production processes.
- Ensure all colleagues are following a H&S Focussed Mindset.
- Production of Cost Saving reports and Future plans.
About you:
- You will come from a Precision Engineering background.
- Experience and good knowledge of Okuma, Fanuc Controls, Mazatrol and ABB Robots.
- Strong working knowledge of Twin-Spindle Mill-Turn, Renishaw Probing.
- Experience on Mitutoyo CMM, completing offline inspection and programming is also advantageous.
