Job Role: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Bredbury
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £33,000 - £34,000 Per Annum (DOE)
Metalis is working in partnership with a manufacturing company in Bredbury who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Mechanical Assembly Technician on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Interpret engineering drawings & specifications
- Assemble components in line with customer / Company specifications and procedures
- Bending and threading of light bore hydraulic tubing to customer schematic drawings
- Pressure testing in line with specifications
- Maintaining and promoting Health and Safety procedures
- Working in line with company Quality & HSE procedures
- Working with scheduled allocated hours
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping and follow the 5S program
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications
- Crane and slinging experience
- Forklift experience
- Pressure testing experience desirable
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Problem solving abilities
Salary & Shift:
- Salary Range - £33,000 to £34,000
- Hours Per Week - 40 hours
- Days Shifts
- Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday - 7am to 4pm, Fridays 7am to 1pm
