Salary: Plater(£16.50ph) Overtime available - Pay increase set for April 2024
Metalis Recruitment : An opportunity has arisen for a Plater to join a prestigious manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plating Medium/Heavy structural steelwork
- Working on all size bespoke jobs
- You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacture of materials and components used in many sectors
- Participating and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities.
- Interpreting manufacturing paperwork (Engineering drawings)
- Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage.
- Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area.
- Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary.
- Rectifying defects where possible and contribute towards problem solving.
The company are looking for a Plater who has the following skills and experiences:
- Time Served
- Long term employment
- Ideally have industrial manufacturing industry experience
- Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
- Team player
- Ability to work well in fast paced environments
Shifts & Salary:
- Plater £16.50ph - Overtime available paid at an enhanced rate
- Days only
- 12 Week Temporary - Permanent role
