We are a growing Manufacturing business based in Wakefield who are recruiting a production operative who will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment. The job involves doing quality checks of product parts and ensuring that the machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the shipment of items. Role and Responsibilities Operating the power press Material handling - loading unloading Visual inspection of press components Booking production data onto production cards and OEE. To be responsible for the manufacturing of steel structural fixings To ensure that all KPIs set are met and that all products go out in full and on time To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving production issues as and when required To ensure that all work is manufactured in accordance with the production plan. To ensure that all products are manufactured to a quality standard and meet the customer delivery dates. Comply with Health and Safety policies and procedures
