Radiographic Technician
Location - Yeovil
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
Metalis are currently supporting a global giant who is at the forefront of supporting a wide range of blue chip aerospace clients. Due to a busy workload they now have a requirement for a Radiographic Technician.
This is a 12 week temporary to perm role, providing a full time and permanent contract for those that show commitment and a good work ethic.
Role Outlined:
As a Radiographic Technician You will be responsible for assisting radiographic testing in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines
Daily Responsibilities:
- Assist radiography X-ray & Gamma tests in accordance with written company procedures
- Help prepare components for test, setup, and adjust test equipment
- Assist in the maintenance of related test equipment and tools in good working condition
- Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Person Specification:
- Have a great teamwork philosophy
- Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
- Educated to a good level - ideally within engineering or similar discipline
This is a days regular role.
