Senior CNC Service Engineer
Salary: Up to £45k + Benefits

Metalis are working with a UK leading supplier and servicing, who work with a range of industries including: Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Automotive an many more. Our client is looking for a Senior CNC Service Engineer to join their team, whether this be Electrical or mechanical biased on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Service & maintain a range of machine tool products.
- Diagnose and repair any problems & replace any parts.
- Identifying any parts required and order via Service and/or Spares department.
- Planned maintenance.
- Carrying out Renishaw Ballbar Callibration
- Be an integral part of a project installation team.
- Completing written reports
- Support & assist technical support engineers as and when required.
- Mentoring junior engineering technicians, trainees & apprentices.
The Requirements:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprentice trained.
- Understand CNC Control Systems
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams (Desirable)
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (Desirable)
- Minimum of 7 years' Service Engineer
- Full UK Driving License
