What is your role at Metalis?
I am a permanent recruitment consultant here at Metalis and I specialise in recruiting for engineers within the maintenance and servicing department. This can be anything from Maintenance Engineers (mechanical & Electrical), PLC Technicians, Fitters, Service Engineers, EC & I Engineers and more.
What did you do before you worked at Metalis?
Prior to Metalis, I worked as a sales negotiator for a leading estate agency. I have always been within a customer/client facing role, speaking with a wide variety of people day in day out.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I love chatting to different people every day, the bonus is I get to help them find their perfect career! I also enjoy dealing with different clients/companies, getting to know what it is they do and how we can help them with their recruitment needs. It helps that we have an amazing team as well.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, my weekends are always full (normally with a vodka or two!). I also help with my close friends events styling business, so normally we are out and about setting up light up numbers or balloon arches.
