What is your role at Metalis?
I work alongside the South Yorkshire team as their Recruitment Team Leader, helping the team progress and assisting with anything operational. My day-to-day consists of keeping the team on track and recruiting myself within the region for anything from Maintenance Engineers (mechanical & electrical), PLC Technicians, Fitters, Service Engineers to EC & I Engineers and more.
What did you do before you worked at Metalis?
Prior to Metalis, I worked as a sales negotiator for a leading estate agency. I have always been within a customer/client facing role, speaking with a wide variety of people day in day out.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I love chatting to different people every day, the bonus is I get to help them find their perfect career! I also enjoy dealing with different clients/companies, getting to know what it is they do and how we can help them with their recruitment needs. Seeing the team succeed and celebrating together is also something I enjoy.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, my weekends are always full (normally with a vodka or two!). I also love booking holidays and weekends away, getting to visit different places in the world is what makes me the happiest.
