Job Role: Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Derby - DE1
Salary: £14ph+ Negotiable
Shift: Days only
Metalis are currently working with a precision engineering manufacturing company who supply high quality equipment and process plant to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preforming Sheet Metal work duties - Cuts, bends, and shapes sheet metal to required dimensions
- Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together
- Connects pieces or secures seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws
- Working with different materials - mainly Stainless Steel
- Use of hand/power tools
- Working from engineering drawings & specifications
Job Requirements:
- Previous sheet metal experience
- Ability to use measuring equipment
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Relevant education/experience
Salary & Shift:
- From £14.00 per hour Negotiable
- Monday - Friday Days only
