Metalis are working with a specialist Manufacturer and Metal Stockist in the heart of Sheffield. Our client is searching for an ambitious career driven individual for the role of SHEQ Officer who will have a clear plan of development.
This is a Monday - Friday role and your working pattern will be discussed at point of interview. The role is paying up to £32,000 for the right candidate. Your primary role will be responsibility for the HSE Function across the whole business. Managing and reviewing standards, process, and quality.
Daily Duties: But not limited to.
- Ensure all H&S Procedures are up to date and being followed correctly.
- Ensure all risk assessments are carried out in relation to COSHH, LOLER etc.
- Undertake monthly review meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
- Keep up to records of all waste material and their disposal.
- Make sure on site maintenance and housekeeping is up to date.
- Be responsible for planning and executing H&S Related training.
- Work with all departments to complete risk assessments including annual medical checks.
- Enter Raw material batch codes correctly and efficiently.
- Checking of deliveries and raising issues swiftly.
- Maintain records of Audits, Deliveries, H&S logs, Training logs.

- NEBOSH Qualified
