Job Role: Tooling Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Shift: Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £32,00
Metalis is sourcing for a Tooling Engineer for a global Aerospace company specialising in the machining of precise components.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience building cutting tool assemblies for a broad range of CNC centres.
Job Duties:
- Raising orders for new tooling in a timely manner.
- Implement TPM strategies for equipment to enhance life of the machine
- Manage tool implementation procedures and develop cutting tool builds.
- Identify improvements in tooling applications and contribute to a continuous improvement culture.
- Manage the Offsetting code system to ensure accurate results on measurement controls.
Job Requirements:
- Competent in setting up of Machine Cell Centres.
- Able to use a variety of quality tools including verniers, callipers, micrometres etc.
- Strong Cutting Tool Knowledge.
- A strong team player happy to help the wider team.
- Understanding of ISO programming and NC Coding.
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 12:00
