Costings & Sales Engineer
Location: Rugby
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing business who are a currently recruiting for an experienced Costing & Sales Engineer to join the team.
The primary role will be to work with customer taking briefs to create accurate estimates on job completion dates, BOMs, and pricing. The role would suit a CNC or Manual Machinist looking to develop in an office based role.
The Role:
- Producing detailed estimates including demand planning, material costs, logistics and margin increase.
- Have an input on future methods of manufacturing and prototyping including 3D printing techniques.
- Production of models using steel, aluminium and iron.
- Have a sound engineering knowledge of feed speed and machining capability.
- Knowledge of excel and ERP Software (in house training given)
- Production of Project Management plans to be converted to Sales Orders.
- Provide programming support to the shop floor up to 5-Axis CNC Machines.
Shifts & Salary:
- £25,000 - £35,000 D.O.E
- Permanent Opportunity.
- Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 & Friday 07:30 - 12:30.
Ideal Experience:
- Experience working with CNC or Manual Machinery.
- A good understanding of CADCAM or Parametric Softwares.
- Experience working in an Automotive or Aerospace business.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Techniques.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
