Job Title: Maintenance Fitter
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum
Metalis is working with a company based in Sheffield who manufacture attachments for the materials handling industry. They are currently looking to expand their two man team by hiring for a maintenance fitter on a permanent basis.
Job Role:
- To carry out repairs, installations and servicing of mechanical components and attachments.
- Primary workshop work but there will also be service work involved visiting sites around South Yorkshire installing products.
- Carry out servicing plans to ensure that products are kept running to a high standard.
- Install company products and have a good knowledge of forklift trucks.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant mechanical discipline or time served,
- Experience within a maintenance or servicing role.
- A good knowledge of health & safety and the ability to work within a small but dynamic team.
