Mechanical Design Engineer (with estimating)
Location: Staveley / CHesterfield
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: Up to £40,000 D.O.E
Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing business who are a currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
This role will be based across boh manufacturing sites.
The Role:
- Providing mechanical engineering to company machinery
- Generating 3D CAD models and 2D fabrication drawings / documents
- Preparing layout drawings and arrangements
- Providing calculations
- Conducting site surveys
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers
Shifts & Salary:
- £36,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
- Permanent Opportunity
- Based in Nottingham - working around Nottingham & Chesterfield area
Ideal Experience:
- Experience with 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks)
- Industry knowledge and experience
- Full clean driving license
- Proficient with Office 365
