Metalis are currently working alongside a specialist engineering business based within Chesterfield, who due to expansion are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly, stripping down and repairing of electrical motors and gearboxes
- Fixing of pumps
- Testing of equipment
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Use of hand & power tools
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or fitting role
- Experience working with Pumps & Motors
- Hands on and supportive of wider business
- Wanting a long-term career
Working Hours:
- Days only
- Monday - Friday. 08:00 - 16:00.
- £28,000 - £30,000 (dependent on experience)
