Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Rotherham
Shifts: Days regular
Salary: £14.74 per hour
Metalis is working with a company based in Rotherham who design, manufacture and install bespoke engineering solutions and equipment. They are looking to expand their team by adding a mechanical fitter to their shopfloor, to ensure the proper functioning of mechanical equipment.
Job Role:
- Assemble and install new mechanical equipment according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Ensure the safe use of lifting equipment and good use of manual handling techniques.
- Using gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements and calculate dimensions.
- Perform all tasks safely and responsibly according to company procedures and policies.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in a relevant mechanical discipline.
- Experience within a similar mechanical fitting role.
- A good knowledge of health & safety and the ability to work within a small but dynamic team.
Job Details:
- £14.74 per hour
