Plant Automation Engineer
Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to £30k per annum
Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing company in the Leeds area who are looking to add a Plant Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Work alongside the Manufacturing/Automation Engineering team
- Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects
- Improve Automation and scrap reduction.
- Industrial robot programming
- Developing fixtures and tooling in CAD.
- Improve the daily operational metrics of our business.
The Person:
- Professionally Qualified Engineer (HNC or BEng degree)
- Competency to evaluate hardware design, including I/O, PLC's, Industry 4.0
- Proficient in 3D CAD
- Capex proposals, Standard working procedures, training documents
