Job Role: Punch Operator
Location: Manchester
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £13.43h + £500 Training Bonus
Metalis are actively supporting a leading Oldham-based sheet metal and profiling company who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Punch Operator on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Operate and set Amada Punches
- Reading engineering drawings
- Guiding lesser skilled Operators
- Responsible for punching blanks to the production schedule
- Ensuring paperwork is managed
- Assist with loading and unloading
Job Requirements:
- LEAN experience preferred but training will be given (5S, TPM, etc.)
- Excellent time keeping
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- FLT License
Salary & Shift:
- 5 Day working week
- £13.43ph + £500 Training Bonus paid after probation
- Free onsite parking
- Performance Bonus Scheme
- Overtime paid x 1.5
