Who we are

One thing, done properly.

Metalis was set up to do one thing well: recruit for engineering and manufacturing businesses. We still don't recruit for anything else.

That focus means the person you speak to understands the work. They know what a good maintenance engineer looks like, what a CNC setter should be earning, and the questions worth asking a welder.

We fill permanent roles, and supply temporary and contract staff, from operatives on the shop floor to the people running the site. Whichever it is, you'll deal with the same people from the first call to the first day.

The team

The team that makes things happen.

A huge thank you to Ricky Pritchard at Metalis for helping me land my new role. Ricky was tasked with finding the right candidate for a specific position and reached out to me after receiving recommendations from two of my former colleagues. His proactive approach and due diligence made the entire process seamless. Ricky provided impeccable communication throughout; he was encouraging, friendly, and professional from start to finish. I felt supported every step of the way—he is highly recommended! Thank you Ricky 🙂

The experience I had was something straight out of a movie. I applied for a job, got a phone call, and because I was already at another interview, Ricky managed to arrange one for this role within an hour of our conversation. I originally didn't want to accept the job as it was very far away, but Ricky went above and beyond and worked his magic — in the end he got me a better offer and everyone was over the moon. He was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, answered all my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed. Can't recommend him or the agency enough.

I couldn't have hoped for a better phone call coming at the time where I was getting messed around with agencies. Ricky was open about the role and from day one helped me to progress to the job offered. I'm now in a full time position with a really good company.. Sounds silly but Ricky you've helped me more then you'll ever know. Thank you for all your help in each step of the employment process. A great company 10/10. Thanks wayne 💯👌
