Sheffield based machining firm AML to create 32 jobs in £7.7m expansion.
The advanced manufacturing supplier are to invest in three new machines at their factory in Rotherham costing £3.9m. They hope to bring the firm from 50 staff to more than 80 and increase their turnover from £5m to £12m.
Almost £2m has been invested from South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority with the rest from AML and its asset finance company.
Dr Gareth Morgan, Managing Director of AML, said; "We will be able to create highly-skilled roles locally as part of our grand plan to keep innovating and growing the business on a worldwide basis. Without the funding we wouldn’t be able to invest in our business to carry out initial trials which are required to secure these larger international contracts.”
