What is your role at Metalis?
I am the Marketing Manager at Metalis and my responsibilities involve implementing and running all aspects of the marketing function. From strategies and planning, branding and design, social media management, copywriting, website management, SEO, analytical reporting and event planning.
What did you do before you worked at Metalis?
I've worked in marketing for over 14 years, it's always been a career I've wanted to pursue since graduating from my Marketing degree at University. Over the years, I have worked in various sectors, developing a deep understanding of how to tailor marketing strategies to different industries and audiences. My hands-on experience has given me the opportunity to manage multiple channels and campaigns, build brands from the ground up, and continuously adapt to new marketing trends and technologies.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
What I enjoy most about my role is the sheer variety it brings. No two days are the same, and I love the opportunity to apply a range of skills, from creative, problem-solving, to data-driven decision-making. I also enjoy working with a fantastic team of people.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Weekends are usually spent going on walks with my husband and two children exploring different places, and I try to stay active at the gym when I can. I've recently started to read more books as a way to relax, although I mostly love binge-watching a Netflix series.
