Job Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Wakefield
Shift: Monday - Friday
Salary: DOE

Metalis is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Business Development Manager

Job Duties:

  • Acquire and develop new and existing customer prospect opportunities
  • Continued management of existing customer relationships
  • Contribution to, and implementation of, the company growth strategy.
  • Domestic and international travel
  • Plan & develop new customer base including resource strategy where applicable.
  • Deliver presentations/lunch and learns, to new and existing customers.
  • Provide technical advice on piping components, equipment, and services.
  • Ensure efficient and effective follow up of potential job/manpower requirements.
  • Recording and Host monthly Team meetings to review sales activity/pipeline.
  • Contribute to work-pack creation and project monitoring.
  • Ensure company CRM system is updated as required.
  • Liaise with QA team over project delivery.
  • Collaboration with various company divisions to promote entire company offering.

Job Requirements:

  • Background in the Hydraulic, Infrastructure and Oil and Gas industries essential.
  • Previous experience with Business Development, Acquiring new accounts and Project Sales.
  • Drive and determination to push the client's brand and develop the UK market.
  • Customer / account knowledge, ideally within the oil & gas/marine markets including EPC's, but also on major infrastructure projects business and repeat systems.
  • Proven external sales track record.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic systems and piping.
  • Competent PC skills including word, excel, powerpoint, etc
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external customers.
  • Positive attitude to learn
  • Willing to Travel Throughout UK and abroad with the role.
