Job Role: Business Development Manager
Location: Southall
Salary: Up to £55,000

Metalis is working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company in Sheffield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a Business Development Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Lead and manage all aspects of facilities engineering projects
  • Planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise the selection, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers for the procurement of equipment, materials, and services essential for project completion
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports
  • Ensure projects are completed within approved budget constraints.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in areas such as HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, fire protection, and general site maintenance
  • Keep clients, senior management, and project teams informed about project status
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant safety, environmental, and building code regulations,
  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals as required.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets established standards and specifications.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment to achieve project goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record in facilities engineering sales and business development. (Essential)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and building systems

  • Recognised engineering qualifications.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing facilities engineering projects.

  • Established track record of delivering complex projects punctually and within budgetary constraints.

  • Proficiency in prioritizing and managing multiple projects concurrently.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
