Job Role: CNC Miller
Location: Oldham
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £16.00ph
Metalis is working in partnership with a specialist engineering company in Oldham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled CNC Miller on a permanent contract.
Job Duties:
* Setting, Operating and Programming CNC Milling machines
* Using Fanuc and Cimco CAD/CAM control systems for programming
* Read and understand customer issued drawings and specifications
* Inspection and quality checking of machined parts
* Ensuring quality standards are consistently met
* Working within a heavy engineering industry
Job Requirements:
* Programming experience using Fanuc and Siemens
* Have experience working with medium to large components
* Have experience working from engineering drawings
* Have experience of self-inspecting work
* Flexibility towards overtime
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Salary & Shift:
* £16.0ph
* Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8am-4.30pm. Friday 8am-1pm (No Lunch)
37 hours total. Overtime is paid at 1.3x, Sunday overtime is paid at 1.5x
* Company Pension
* Bonus system based on Health and Safety (£250 every 6 months if qualify)
* Overtime available
