Job Title: CNC Operator - Milling
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Morning and Afters
Salary: £14.98 - £15.73ph
Metalis are currently in partnership with an established engineering company based in Sheffield who are looking to hire a CNC Miller on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC Milling machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and machining symbols.
- Ability to use the correct measuring tools for machining and checking final product.
- Ability of positioning parts into jigs and fixtures prior to machining.
- Make sure the machine is set and left in a safe condition.
Person Specification:
- CNC Milling experience.
- Ability to read from engineering drawings.
- Ensuring machine department is clean and tidy and adhere to health and safety.
- Assist experienced operators in the safe loading and unloading of tooling.
- Must be willing to work extended hours or shifts as requested.
