Due to sustained growth, our client is seeking a talented Designer/Detailer to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity offering a collaborative and supportive office environment that promotes a strong team ethic.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design architectural, secondary, and structural steelwork to meet client specifications using structural engineers' input
• Liaise with internal departments, clients, and engineers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely, cost-effective solutions
• Produce all drawings for design approvals, including 3D renders where required
• Generate fabrication drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Conduct site surveys as needed
• Attend client design meetings
• Manage workload across multiple live projects
• Carry out general drawing office administration when required

Ideal Skills & Experience

• Previous design experience within fabrication or structural steelwork
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D is essential
• Proficient with IT and Auto CAD/Solid Works systems
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace change
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to engage with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
