Job Title: Export Administrator

Location: Sheffield

Shifts: Days regular

Salary: £23,000 - £28,000k

Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established metal supplier who are actively looking to hire an Export Administrator on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Organise and monitor the preparation, documentation, and execution of export shipments.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Act as a point of contact between the organisation, customers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Respond to queries regarding shipment status, export regulations, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and customer interactions using company ERP or export management systems.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to export performance and logistics.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A qualification in Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • Previous experience in export administration or logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Salary and Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday, days regular.
  • £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
  • 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
