Metalis are currently working with a company based in CV2 who are looking for a dedicated and skilled injection moulding technician due to expansion and company growth.
Job Description
- Assist in supervising and coordinating daily production activities in the plastic injection moulding department.
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards to maintain product integrity.
- Train, mentor, and provide guidance to production team members, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and optimise machine utilisation, identifying and addressing any operational issues or bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, to resolve technical issues and improve overall production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, production output, and inventory levels.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in plastic injection moulding, preferably in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships with team members and other departments.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing production environment.
Salary & Hours:
- £28,000 per annum with review after 6 months
- 12pm - 10pm Monday -Thursday
- Permanent, Full-Time
