Job Title: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: Days Regular
Salary: £30k DOE
Metalis are currently in partnership with an established engineering company based in Sheffield. Our client is looking to hire a skilled Mechanical Fitter on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembling, repairing and performance testing of pumps, valves etc
- Use of testing equipment to identify faults
- Responding to breakdown
- Problem solving and Rectifying malfunctions
- Maintain working area and ensure clean and organised environment
- Use of hand tools and measurement equipment
- Work closely with clients and engineers to diagnose faults, investigate and defects and carry out repairs.
Person Specification:
- Candidate ideally to have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in a similar environment
- Maintenance experience within an industrial setting
Shifts and Salary:
- Days regular, Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role
- £30,000 DOE
