Job Role: Mechanical Site Fitter
Location: Batley
Shift: Days regular
Salary: £16.50ph DOE
Metalis is currently working with a well-established engineering company based in Batley. The company are looking to hire a skilled Mechanical Site Fitter on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Role:
- The ideal candidate will be required to have the experience and skills to carry out the role as Site Welder / Site Fitter.
- Can work as part of a team carrying out engineering maintenance within the recycling, textiles, quarrying and agricultural sectors.
- They must have the knowledge, experience and logical work ethic to be able to repair, replace or re-instate in a safe and professional manner and are required to have a conscientious approach to repairing and maintaining the manufacturing process equipment
- Handing back over to our customers in a clean and safe state, ensuring that the environment around is also hazard free.
Job Requirements:
- Hold full qualification within mechanical / Mechanical engineering qualification (or around this e.g. within engineering).
- Welding qualification and experience is highly desirable as welding will usually be assisted with on site.
- IPAF.
- CSCS.
Shifts & Salary:
- Wednesday - Thursday 6am - 6pm.
- Overtime available - paid at basic rate.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
