MIG Welder / Fabricator

£16.00ph - Overtime available AFTER probation
*Tube/Pipe Welding work history ideal but not essential*
Metalis Recruitment: An opportunity has arisen for a MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a manufacturing company based in Rotherham.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, mark, & lay out (fabricate) tack & weld various jobs as instructed
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Measuring, cutting, and fabricating components to precise specifications.
- Operating hand tools, grinders, and cutting machinery.
- Performing quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards.
- Working to deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
The company are looking for a Production Operative who has the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in MIG welding and fabrication.
- Structural Steel background/experience.
- Previous Tube/Pipe Welding experience ideal but not essential.
- Ability to work confidently from technical drawings.
- Knowledge of workshop safety and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
Shifts & Salary:
- £16.00ph - Overtime available AFTER probation passed
- 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
- 12 Week Temporary - Permanent role
