Production & Purchasing Planner
Location: Nuneaton
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Metalis are currently supporting a precision engineering firm looking to recruit a production & purchasing planner as their current employee retires.
The role is 39Hours a week. Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 & 07:00 - 12:00 on a Friday. Our client is looking for someone experienced in the role who can bring new ways of working and methodologies.
The Role:
- Oversee all production planning from receiving customer order, contract review, planning work and booking delivery out.
- Managing KPI's - ensuring targets are met.
- Ensuring correct filing of paperwork.
- Clear communication with customers and shop floor teams.
- Obtain quotes for raw material and sub con work.
- Managing stock levels within the business.
- Support stores department with minimum levels of material.
- Raising of Purchase Orders.
Shifts & Salary:
- £30,000 - £35,000 D.O.E
- Permanent Opportunity.
- Monday - Friday.
Ideal Experience:
- Experience with MRP Software preferably Prodman
- Experience working in manufacturing - ideally aerospace/automotive.
- A good understanding of general machining capability.
- Understanding of material tolerances and properties.
