Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Leicester
Shifts: Days regular (07:30 - 1630) Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Metalis is working with a National Aerospace parts manufacturer sourcing for an experienced Quality Engineer. This is a key role for the business working on internal and external quality systems.
You will be detailed orientated individual ideally from Aerospace or Automotive background with knowledge of FAIRs and PPAPs.
Job Role:
- Maintaining quality standards across the site.
- Overseeing reporting KPI's and Delivering reports.
- Driving Right First-Time principles.
- Developing Quality Standards through APQP/PPAP before launch.
- Being on hand to answer quality issue with customers.
- Being part of the internal/external audit process.
- Ensuring Quality standards from suppliers is met.
- Compile & Review all FAIR activity.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience with FAIR writing.
- AS9100D Audit experience.
- A background in Automotive or Aerospace.
- A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Package:
- £40,000 - £50,000
- Days regular, Early finish Friday
- 33Days Holiday.
