Job Title: Shift Maintenance Electrician
Location: Sheffield
Shifts: 4 on 4 off shift pattern
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Working within a steel manufacturing plant in Sheffield, Metalis are working with one of our long-standing clients who are looking to recruit for a shift maintenance electrician to join their team. You will be accountable for all electrical, electronic, pneumatic and process control work occurring on the plant.
Job Role:
- Work part of a multi disciplined maintenance team on shifts, responding to breakdowns and supporting the planned maintenance activities when necessary.
- Maintaining industrial plant, including 3 phase systems and other heavy-duty equipment.
- Ensuring the appropriate use of CMMS throughout the shift operations.
- Electrical installation work and plant commissioning.
- Comply with all health & safety requirements on site, including legal regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained in an electrical engineering discipline, with proven experience within a heavy engineering environment.
- Able to demonstrate hands on electrical maintenance.
