Job Title: Shot Blaster
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £11 - £15ph DOE
Our client has over 20 years supporting engineering and manufacturing projects. Due to several large contract wins they are now looking to add a full-time Shot Blaster to their experienced team in Sheffield.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Using and working with shot blasting equipment
- Ensuring accurate and desired finishes for each project
- Overseeing quality of work and visual inspection of defects
- Working in a fast-paced production environment
- Handling components and general labouring tasks
- Trained to use an FLT to help other areas of the business - such as goods in/out
Person Specification:
- Good eye for detail
- Able to follow direction
- Physically fit and able to manually move items
- Previous experience shot blasting
Shifts and Salary:
- Days regular
- Monday - Thursday 6am-2pm
- Fridays - 6am - 1pm
- Overtime available after 36 hours - paid at time and a quarter
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role
