Job Title: Site Fitter / fabricator

Shifts: 12 hour days, Monday-Friday
Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established engineering company based in Batley who are actively seeking skilled site fitters on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.

Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established engineering company based in Batley who are actively seeking skilled site fitters on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out engineering maintenance within the recycling, textiles, quarrying and agricultural sectors.
- MIG welding with stainless steel.
- Repair, replace and re-instate in a safe and professional manner.
- Working within recycling sites.
- Repairing and maintaining the manufacturing process equipment.
Ensuring components are handed back over to our customers in a clean and safe state, ensuring that the environment around is also hazard free.
- Welding qualification and experience is highly desirable as welding will usually be assisted with on site - must have qualification, not just experience.
- IPAF
- CSCS
- £15.50ph.
- 12-hour days, Monday-Friday.
- 8 hours on site.
- 12 weeks temp - perm.
- Up to 60 hours a week.
- Site teams travel from our workshop in Batley.
- All tools are provided.
