Metalis are working with a fabrication company who specialise in light fabrication and metal welding. Their in-house fabrications team leverages extensive knowledge of metals and advanced processes to ensure exceptional quality and reliability. This makes their products perfect for safety-critical and highly demanding applications. Based in Coventry, they offer a comprehensive range of services, managing metal fabrication projects from initial concept to final delivery. Due to growth they are looking for a skilled welder fabricator to join their friendly team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of welding techniques
- Ability to operate welding and fabricating machinery
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret measuring devices
- Must be able to use a Press Brake, guillotine, ability to bend and form metal, drilling and assembly.
Previous Experience
- Proven track record in fabricating and welding
- Good manual dexterity
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
Pay Rate & Hours
- £14ph
- Hours - 7.30 -16.30 Mon-Thurs 7.30-12.30 Friday
- 39 hours per week
- 25 days holiday plus statutory
- £14 per hour
- Optional Pension Scheme
- Profit Share
