Job Title: Skilled Production Operatives
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £12-£14ph
Metalis are currently in partnership with a UK leading supplier in Barnsley. Due to continuous growth, our client is looking to hire candidates with skilled production/machine experience on a permanent contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sorting and grading incoming materials.
- Moving materials throughout site.
- Operating machinery and using various tools.
- Sorting raw materials.
- Stock control, entering date and updating on electronic system.
- Manual handling and heavy lifting.
Person Specification:
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Good computer skills.
- Experience operating bandsaws, shotblasting or guillotines.
- FLT license or FLT experience - advantageous.
- Metallurgy experience/qualifications - advantageous.
- Driving license preferred.
Shifts and Pay:
Rotating Days and Nights
- Days - 6am - 6pm - Monday to Thursday.
- Nights - 6pm - 6am - Monday to Thursday.
- £12-£14ph dependent on experience.
- Shift allowance and overtime available.
- Permanent vacancy.
