Job Title: Welder Fitter

Location: Doncaster

Shifts: Days regular (option to work a 4 or 5 day week)

Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum

Metalis are working with a company based worldwide, for their packaging manufacturing site in Doncaster. They are looking to recruit an experienced welder who has experience in fitting and mechanical maintenance, reporting to the senior mechanical engineer.

Job Role:

• Welding & fabricating with aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel.
• Installation work and mechanical maintenance tasks around site.
• Identifying and repairing faults around the factory.
• Working from technical drawings and using all welding and fabrication techniques.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relevant mechanical or welding discipline.
• Good knowledge of health & safety and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to understand mechanical principles and technical drawings.
