Job Role: Design Engineer
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are working with a well established business in Chesterfield, who are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Design and produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Turn customer requirements into practical solutions
- Support projects from design through manufacture and assembly
- Work closely with the production and assembly teams
- Review and improve existing designs and processes
- Liaise with internal teams, customer and suppliers to resolves technical issues
Job Requirements:
- Experience within a mechanical design role
- Experience with gears, gearboxes and micro-geometry (preferred)
- Proficient in 3D CAD software's (Solidworks, KISSsoft, Gems)
- Able to interpret technical specifications and develop effective design solutions
Salary & Shift:
- £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Friday, Days
