Job description

Role: Assembly Fitter
Location: Annesley
Shifts: Days & Afternoons
Salary: £14.68ph - 25% shift premium on Afternoons
12 Week Temporary - Permanent role
Metalis are currently working with a precision manufacturer, who produce high quality and complex products who are looking for an experienced Assembly Fitter to join their team.
Job Duties:
  • Assembly of components using specialised fasteners, sealants and paints
  • Working to specification from engineering drawings
  • Manual drilling and bench work
  • Use of jigs and fixtures
  • Record keeping for traceability
  • Maintaining standards of cleanliness and finish to final product
Job Requirements:
  • Assembly experinece essential, preferably in Aerospace
  • Previous CNC machining experience would be a distinct advantage for progression
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
Salary & Shift:
  • Days & Afternoons
  • Days = 6.00am- 2.00pm
  • Afternoons = 2.00pm - 10.00pm
  • £14.68ph - 25% shift premium on Afternoons
  • Overtime available
