Job Role: Bandsaw Operative
Location: Rotherham
Shift: Days and Afters
Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 DOE
Metalis is working in partnership with a large specialist engineering company in Rotherham who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Bandsaw Operative on a 12-week temporary to permanent contract.
Job Duties:
- Operation of automatic band saws.
- Maintenance of saws.
- General housekeeping in the saw shop and machine shop.
- Contribute to the safety programme as required maintaining a culture of safety first.
Job Requirements:
- Previous bandsaw operation.
- Open to new training opportunities.
- Produce work to a high quality.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
Salary & Shift:
- 37.5 hour working week.
- Days and Afters.
- £23,000 - £24,000 DOE.
- 13% Shift Allowance.
- 12 week temporary to permanent role.
