CAD Engineer
Location: Rugby
Shifts: Monday - Friday
Salary: £18 - £20 Per hour
Metalis are working with a specialist manufacturing business who are a currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Engineer to join the team.
The Role will be working to design innovative Mould & Foundry Tools whilst also creating Jigs & Fixtures for the Automotive and Aerospace industries.
The Role:
- Design of Mould & Foundry Tools
- Design of Jigs of Fixtures
- Preparation of work instructions for assemblies.
- Meeting with customers to qualify design briefs.
- Project Manage their own workload for the lifecycle of designs.
- Use of Siemens NX, Catia or Autodesk.
- Working to ISO9001 and AS9100 Standards.
- Following H&S on site at all times.
Shifts & Salary:
- £18 - £20 Per Hour.
- Permanent Opportunity.
- Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:15 & Friday 07:30 - 12:30.
Ideal Experience:
- Previous experience designing for Automotive or Aerospace industry.
- Previous use of Autodesk Powershape, Siemens NX or CATIA V5.
- Experience using surface modelling tools.
- A clear communicator.
- Able to work efficiently and manage their own time effectively.
