Metalis are currently working alongside an established specialist manufacturing company who due to a healthy order book, are recruiting for an experienced CAD CAM Programmer to join the team in Chesterfield.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Producing programs, tooling sheets, methods etc
- Developing precise CNC programs using Hypermill software.
- Providing production engineering support
- Working closely alongside the design and production teams
- Planning efficient manufacturing methods, including jig and fixture design
- Continuous Improvement - Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap
The ideal person will:
- Have proven experience in CNC Programming and CAD / CAM Software (Hypermill)
- Fantastic problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside various different departments
- A forward thinker, with a collaborative spirit who is committed to helping develop and introduce offline programming throughout the business
Shifts & Salary:
- £35,000 - £45,000
- Days only, Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
- Chesterfield
- Permanent
