Metalis are currently working with a leading manufacturing company based in Hinckley who are seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a CNC Setter/Operator. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise in CNC machining whilst working in a cutting-edge industry. Job Duties:

• Setting & operating CNC Milling machinery
• Working from engineering drawings & specifications
• Loading raw materials into the machines and securing them properly for machining
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures based on job requirements
• Carrying out inspection duties ensuring the finish product meets the required standards
• Working to strict health and safety policies

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience Setting and Operating CNC Milling machinery
• Experience working within manufacturing environments, preferably with exposure to aerospace industry standards
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of tooling selection, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters for different materials
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
