Due to a busy orderbook our client has permanent requirements for CNC Turners across several shift Patterns. Pay rates are as follows:
Permanent Days - £12.50 - £15.50ph DOE
Permanent Afternoons - £12.50 - £15.50ph DOE with additional £130 weekly allowance
Permanent Nights - £12.50 - £15.50ph DOE with additional £150 weekly allowance
Job Overview:
The company is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating or setting and operating lathe machines.
As a CNC Turner you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of the components the business produces.
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of CNC Lathes to perform precision machining
- Set up machines, select appropriate tooling and adjust machine parameters
- Inspect workpieces to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of machine settings, measurements, and any issues encountered during the machining process.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure their optimal performance.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner, preferably with experience on 5axis machining
- Ability to set up machines - the company has a wide range of operating systems including Mazak, fanuc etc
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of machining principles and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
