£36,000+ DOE
Metalis are currently working with a reputable company that produces machined components for the oil and gas industry in Sheffield, who are looking for a Deep Hole Borer to join the team on a Permanent basis!
What's the Job?
- Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
- Select machines and appropriate tools required to manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
What Kind of Person Fits This Job?
- 2 Years machining experience with the oil and gas industry.
- Experience of machining high grade material.
- Experience of using deep hole borers.
- Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
The Basics:
- £36,000+ DOE
- Hours Per Week - 40 hours
- Days Shifts Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm.
- Night Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 6pm to 4am.
