Job Role: Design Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a specialist manufacturer who are looking for a Design Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Review customer/project requirements and create detailed design drawings
- Assist the commercial and projects teams
- Provide support for the Head of Design
- Comply with ISO9001 standards at all time
- Involved in continuous improvement activities to improve business performance
- Plan and organise the effective use of resources to ensure targets are fully met
- Review process designs, identifying areas for improvement and suggest appropriate courses of action
- Manage relationships with customers and suppliers
Job Requirements:
- Design Engineer experience (3 - 5 years)
- Design qualifications (preferred)
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
- Solidworks experience or similar
- Full UK Driving Licence
- UK Passport
Salary & Shift:
- £25,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 3:30pm
