Job Duties:
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery, which may include CNC machines, Edgebanders, or Beam Saws, to fabricate wooden components.
- Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Inspect finished components for defects, accuracy, and quality, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Wood Machinist with expertise in operating woodworking machinery.
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and equipment, including CNC machines, edgebanders, or beam saws.
- Strong knowledge of wood materials and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret woodworking plans and drawings.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality woodwork.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
Salary & Hours:
- Salary: £13.00 -£14.00ph
- DayShift - 7am - 4pm Monday - Thursday, 7am - 1pm Friday
