Fabrication Operative
Salary: Up to £13.49p/h
Location: Warrington
Metalis are currently working with a well-known family run manufacturing company based in Warrington. They are looking for a fabricator operative to join their team and grow with the company.
The suitable applicant must have experience in fabrication and reading engineer drawings, along with minimum level 1 welding qualification.
Job Duties:
- Reading fabrication drawings to ensure all components are manufactured to the correct specifications
- Ensure all completed structures are stored in the correct locations and labelled
- Assist with checking off returned items from paint as necessary
- Complete all necessary fabrication paperwork.
- Ensure all the correct stock is booked to each job/order,
- To follow all company quality control procedures.
- To operate plant/machinery/tools safely
- Ensure all tools/equipment are maintained and kept in the correct location.
- Notify immediately of any defective/unsafe equipment or hazardous work areas.
- Remove any scrap material safely
Salary & Shifts:
Monday - Thursday 8.15am to 4.30pm and Fridays 8.15 to 3.30pm ( 39 hours per week )
£12.57ph - £13.49ph depending on experience
