Metalis are currently working with an established manufacturing company based in Leicester who are looking for a folding operator to join their friendly team due to a high levels of work.

Role Overview

To set, feed and operate the folding Machines with full confidence, ensuring all Quality, Health and Safety & Environmental (QSHE) policies and procedures are always adhered to.
To produce manufactured parts of a high-quality standard, correct to drawings, in line with agreed discrete job timings.
To be able to read and understand the drawing requirements, BOM (bill of materials) and routing steps on the paperwork and fully understand the various internal customer specifications required.
Be able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities/ Duties

Previous experience working in a manufacturing operations environment, preferably fabrication.
Ideally previously on folding machines or similar equipment
Ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to set machines is desirable.
Understanding of Environmental, Quality, Health & Safety (QSHE) requirements and procedures.
Folding Machines
Crane Trained (Internal Training).
IT Literate
Understanding of 6S Standards
Forklift truck (but not essential)
Overhead crane (in house training)
Pallet Truck (in house training)

£13.24ph

Mon to Thurs - 6.00 am to 14.10 pm Fri - 6.00 am to 12.00 pm
